Sweet Melissa Patisserie offers ten scrumptious suggestions below. Please be mindful of the baking times and temperatures depending upon your particular oven.

10 yummy croissant fillings from sweet melissa patisserie

Chocolate: Slice the croissant in half in a lengthwise direction. Then, spread your desired amount of chocolate ganache (½ chocolate and ½ cream) on one side of the croissant and sandwich both sides together.

Pumpkin: Why not try pumpkin pie filling nestled within a croissant for an autumn-inspired taste. Feel free to add finely chopped nuts if you wish to do so. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

Ice Cream: You can never go wrong with ice cream! Slice your heated-up croissant at its center and place a scoop of ice cream between the two halves for a delicious two-temperature treat for your tastebuds.

Pastry Cream: Stuff a rich pastry cream filling inside of a croissant in order to experience a combination of scrumptious flavors.

Apples: Take thin slices of apple and coat them with a blend of cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg. Wait 30 minutes for the mixture to absorb. Place a layer of apples inside your croissant and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees.

Peanut Butter and Jelly: Slice a croissant in a lengthwise manner. Add a layer of both peanut butter and jelly in between the two sides and then sandwich the halves together. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees.

Bacon: A few strips of fresh, warm bacon go fantastic inside of a croissant. Add some lettuce, tomato slices, and mayo if desired.

Chicken Parmesan: Take a thin portion of chicken parmesan and place it in between a sliced-open croissant. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees. This “Italy meets France” masterpiece can be served with marinara sauce on the side.

Meatballs:  Meatballs and meatloaf go very well when sandwiched into croissants. Simply place a meatball cut in half or a sliver of meatloaf into the middle of a sliced croissant to form a sandwich. This recipe is mouth-watering and satisfying! Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees.

Feta and Spinach: Go Greek! Fill the inside of a croissant with feta cheese and spinach. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
